Spring is Here!

In Southeast Minnesota we are experiencing incredibly warm weather considering it's only the end of March. SERVPRO of Rochester wants to share with you a few tips as spring is almost here!

Spring tips to care for your home:
1. Check the gutters and clear of leaves and other debris.
2. Check around the perimeter of your home that the grade (slope) of dirt is not going towards your home, but away!
3. Check trees that are close to your home. Do the branches need trimming?
4. Clean out your laundry vent that goes outside.
5. Check your roof to make sure you haven't lost any shingles in strong wind storms.
6. Change the batteries in your smoke alarm.
7. Check your sump pump to ensure it is working.
